Here's your chance to win some serious money! Join this video competition, have fun shooting and editing a short film, and take home big prizes.

In short:

A team of three KDU students brought home a Gold Medal from the recent FHA in Singapore (read more about KDUs involvement). The Food Hotel Asia is one of the most prominent events in the hospitality world. Ooi Shar Mayn, Amanda Yuen and Julia Ung took part in the Dream Team Challenge and tell us, how they experienced the event.

This year's Hot Cat Tour had a new element, a video competition.
Teams could submit short videos about tourist hot spots in KL.

We have received twelve such videos and enjoyed watching them immensely. Students were surprisingly creative and apparently had fun, too.

Unfortunately, only three of the teams could win. And here are...

One of the events during our recent language week was the student video competition.

Teams of four students were to come up with ideas for short film clips of three minutes, that somehow revolved around the foreign language. They were then to shoot it and edit it into a short film.
There where more than a dozend submissions altogether, and a few we would like to show you here:

Chefs of IMI and KDU joined forces to create some seriously mouthwatering pieces of culinary art.

Dear participants of the (German) Karaoke Battle,

here are the six five songs that we will use in the karaoke competition. For the French side, please check with Mr. Bruno and Mr. Alan.

Recently I stumbled across a website, that I found seriously inspiring. It features lots talks, scientific or just plain entertaining and is certainly worth checking out.

For those interested in German or French movies, please note, the 10th installment of the European Union Film Festival is on.

It runs from the 12th to the 22nd of November. You can catch movies in GSC cinemas in Mid-Valley, 1Utama and Pavillion.

On the 13th of Octover you can and should try the freshly made Paella, prepared for you by Chef Kenneth, Chef Raymond, Chef Malcolm, Chef Darren and Team Independent.
