- Entry to the Library
KDU College Students who are currently registered as Library Members are allowed access to the Library and used the Library facilities.
- Deposit of Personal Belongings
Personal belongings such as bags, briefcases, parcels, umbrellas, sports equipment, food and water tumblers are to be deposited and kept at the SHELVES PROVIDED outside the Library. The Library shall reserve the right to remove personal belongings of readers that are left elsewhere in the Library and shall not be held responsible in the case of loss of such belongings. Students are advised to keep their valuables in the LOCKERS. The College will not accept responsibility for the loss of any such item.
- Library Information Searches
The materials in the Library are classified and arranged according to a specified scheme. Students are encouraged to ask for assistance from the Library Staff on the location of the Library resources as well as for other information needs.
- Book Loans
Currently registered KDU Students who have paid the Caution Fee of RM250.00 are entitled to borrow / loan out the Library books from the Short Loan (SL) Collection or the Open Shelves ( OS ) area after filling "The Application For Library Membership" Card which is available at the Membership Registration Counter.
All Library Users must ensure every item or book borrowed be returned on time. Fines for any overdued, damaged or lost books will be borned by the borrowers.
- Materials for Library Use only
General reference books, current magazines / journals, bound periodicals, current local / foreign newspapers, A-Level Question Papers, pamphlets and Annual Reports are to be read WITHIN the Library.
- Short Loan Collection
The Collection consists of recommended textbooks, required reading materials from the Lecturers and past year A-Level questions. Students are allowed to borrow ONE (1) book at a time either for use in the Library or for overnight only. For Library management purposes, all Students are required to borrow using their Library Membership Cards.
