The Macau – Guangzhou Expeditionary Trip

The two degree batches, BA2A and BA1D, aggregated once more in this class to launch an educational trip to Macau and Guangzhou, China. The much anticipated trip was organized by the students themselves, with help of the advising lecturer, Mr. Gabriel, and the Tour Agent, Mr. Lim.

The trip proved to be very entertaining as the tour destinations were of the famed Portuguese streets, the grand casinos of Macau, the relaxing cruise off the Guangzhou river, the historical landmarks, the shopping streets, their food outlets, and of course, the infrastructure that represented the pride of their denizens.

The students who ventured out into the cities that hosted them managed to experience the Portuguese architecture of Macau and even Guangzhou’s version of our Malaysian Mamak outlets, sitting out on the streets, with cheap food and cheap drinks whilst talking boisterously and enjoying the excellent company of those we were seated with.

This was truly an experience we hold dear to our hearts.
