In 2009, under the School of Hospitality, six different people with very different character and background, formed the student council.

We were lead by our advisor Ms Wong Pik Shin and commenced our work on the 21st of January 2009.
We were the President, Tan Li Li; vice President, Elaine Liew Lee Chuin; Secretary, Foo Ken Jun; Treasurer, Wong Pei Wen; E-newsletter, Clement Ting Yii Farn; and Event Coordinator, Michelle Cheok Wei Lee.
Under the leadership of Ta Li Li, we have come out with several activities such as the Valentine Day, Food Fest and Prom Night. All of the activities were carried out well and yielded good result. It was very satisfying that we achieve something with our hard work.
Unfortunatelly, there have been some sad stories Elaine Liew left after 3 month and was replace by Ooi Shar Mayn as the new vice president. Then Michelle left Grapevine for personnel reasons and was replace by Joey Liew as the new Event Coordinator. Furthermore, our advisor laft for Switzerland to further her studies and was replaced by Mr Hor Kok Teng as out new advisor.
The success of our prom night is proof to the great teamwork between us and Mr Hor. It was a pleasure for us to work under two brilliant advisors that lead us and taught us well.
